We like to invest in academics, clinicians and community organisations working on understanding ageing, age-related disease or methods for improving the health and well-being of older people and in making the connections which can help them to flourish. We do this through our thematic grant making programme - and now through our mission-aligned investments.
The Trust’s overall investment portfolio is valued at c. £160M. £5M has been ear-marked for impact-first investments and a further c.10% for finance-first impact investment opportunities (largely private equity funds). We are a member of the Charities Responsible Investment Network (CRIN) and Social Impact Investors’ Group (SIIG) and a signatory to Share Action’s Long Term Investors in People’s Health initiative.
