FarmAbility

FarmAbility helps adults with learning disabilities and autism (our co-farmers) to lead a more purposeful life: To work outdoors, try new things in a supportive environment, make new friends and develop new skills and confidence. We are a person centred organisation and we focus on our co-farmers abilities not their disabilities. Too often, people with learning disabilities lead sheltered, sedentary and lonely lives with little opportunities to enjoy the outdoors. After lockdown, everyone appreciates how important it is to be able to get out, enjoy nature and have companionship.
