Careers at RSPCA Middlesbrough, South Tees & District Branch

RSPCA Branches rescue, rehabilitate and re-home those animals most at risk, through RSPCA Inspectors, clinics, animal centres, boarding and fostering facilities. Branches are also there to offer public advice, and education on animal welfare. They are there to offer support with micro-chipping, neutering and subsidised animal treatments to animals owned by people in financial difficulty.  Each RSPCA Branch (of which there are approx.140) is a separately registered unincorporated charity, operating at local level across England and Wales. In 2020 Branches did 78% of the re-homing activity across the RSPCA network. They took in 31,076 animals into their care.  The RSPCA has been at the forefront of animal welfare since 1824, the year that it was founded in a London coffee shop. We are proud to be the oldest animal welfare charity around.
