Waveney Enterprises Craft Workshop

Waveney Enterprises is a charity situated in the heart of Beccles, Suffolk, supporting adults with  Learning Disabilities from the Norfolk and Suffolk area.  We are an arts and crafts workshop providing our clients the opportunity to develop their life and social skills, as well as to promote their independence, choice, confidence and to maximise each individuals own potential in a safe and supportive environment. We work in co-production with our service users to produce handmade, unique and original gifts of a high quality, which we sell from our town centre shop. Waveney Enterprises was established in 1985 and became a registered charity in 1995. The workshop is run by a small team of dedicated staff and volunteers with a wealth of knowledge and experiences in Arts and Social Care, using creative and innovative ways of transferring skills to people with learning disabilities to learn and build on. This helps to improve their self confidence and independence
