Dorking Bandstand CIO

The Dorking Bandstand project has three aims: to provide a physical memorial to those who suffered during the Pandemic; to act as a focus to commemorate the work of NHS staff; key workers; volunteers and others who helped us through the pandemic and to provide a much needed permanent outdoor performance site in the centre. of Dorking. We intend the bandstand to be a focus of community activity: music; dramatic performances and to be available for a wide range of other uses - this benefitting as wide as possible range of users. We intend to be as inclusive as possible in encouraging users, particularly underrepresented groups in our society and as a wide as possible age range.
