Nailsea & District Community Transport Limited

Nailsea & District Community Transport Limited is a not-for-profit organisation that has been operating for more than 29 years. We are a registered society under the Co-operative and Community Benefit Societies Act 2014.  We provide a door-to-door service for the elderly, isolated, and disabled within the northern part of North Somerset. Our service enables members to lead a normal life rather than be isolated when there is no suitable or public transport available to them. Through our service, people are able to live in their homes for longer and are supported by other members who use the service. We operate 6 wheelchair-accessible minibusses and two wheelchair-accessible cars. We are shortly taking delivery of three brand-new wheelchair-accessible electric minibuses and these will be the first to be operated in North Somerset. We currently have circa 500 members and our membership continues to grow year on year.  We are partially financially supported by North Somerset Council and all the other major town and parish councils in the area that we serve.
