The Woodfield Project

The Woodfield Project (TWP) is a charity devoted to running and using The Woodfield Pavilion, a refurbished community space that opened in June 2019 serving the communities of Tooting Common and surrounding areas. Our Vision: to develop the Pavilion as a 'go-to' community hub for art, education, recreation, leisure and sports activities that focus on health and wellbeing, and conserves and builds an appreciation of the natural environment among its users. Our Aims:

To provide a safe inclusive space for education, recreation and leisure in arts, culture, the environment, health and wellbeing; To promote the appreciation of the natural environment; and conserve and enhance the natural environment of the Tooting Commons and its surroundings; To increase TWP community reach and membership; To establish more management teams that optimise the use of volunteers; actively engage local people and groups with TWP's aims, To actively extend the benefits of TWP to vulnerable and socially excluded people in our community.
