APOPO UK's primary aim is working in partnership with international organisations delivering projects that are making a meaningful difference to solve social challenges through the deployment of animal detection techniques for social good around the world.  We have charitable status registered 1199007 (England & Wales) with the Charities Commission and have a registration on Companies House as a non profit.  As a grant giving organisation we are choosing to work in close partnership with award winning APOPO vzw.  APOPO is a highly skilled, Belgian registered and well established (25 years+) non profit specialising in training animals to use their intelligence and olfactory ability to detect land mines and TB.  APOPO UK is now the official representative for APOPO in the UK and have a partnership agreement in place.  APOPO's work is amazing and making an impact on disadvantaged communities around the world.  Our small but growing Board and our UK supporters are helping to raise funds to supplement the already strong and well established supporter base and create networks to bring in new support and raise awareness about this incredible work.
