📣 Mission & Purpose
Tribal Textiles is a purpose driven company, that has been making qualitative textiles and home decor for nearly 30 years with talented artisans found within our rural community in Zambia. We are a social enterprise and everything we do is with community and conservation at heart. We bring employment, skills, autonomy and pride to the artisans working with us. Our work also indirectly contributes to wildlife protection, as we operate at the doorstep of one of the most beautiful safari parks in the world and employment means less reasons for people to poach etc. In times of COVID, we have been one of the only tourism related business in this area that managed to keep employed all our staff (or nearly) at full salary !

😎 Autonomy
We work on so many different projects that a high level of autonomy is expected and required from our staff. Basically, what you want to take on, you can as long as you are accountable for it !

👩‍👧‍👧 Team members
Our team is probably the one of the best reasons to work for Tribal ! Talented artisans as well as management team, we certainly have amazing and surprising people working for Tribal. And they always have a good reason to laugh, which brightens up even the worst day on earth ;).

Overall

I have been working 6 years for Tribal now and intended initially to come only for 3 months... And not one year has been the same as we are perpetually having new projects and initiatives. I think that tells you the extent of how cool that place is !
