Role Summary
- Frontend user experience building, testing, and deployment for Ecosia.

Role Requirements
- Experience in deployment of production code using JavaScript or TypeScript, particularly in Vue.js, Vite, or equivalent (such as React).
- Proficient in different testing methodologies.
- Fluent in English with strong communication skills.
- (Desirable) Familiarity with Frontend Performance Optimizations and Observability systems, and basic backend or serverless knowledge.

The role entails building, testing, and deploying the frontend user experience of Ecosia. You will contribute to the development of new features in our cross-functional product team and support your team members in backend-focused work-streams, if you are interested. You will also have the opportunity to advance our engineering practices for frontend within your areas of interest and share what you know to empower your peers to gain deeper technical knowledge.
Job requirements include experience building and deploying production code in JavaScript / TypeScript, ideally in Vue.js, Vite, or equivalent (e.g. React), experience in different testing methodologies, and good communication skills in English. Optional advantages include experience with Frontend Performance Optimizations, navigating Observability systems, and basic backend / serverless knowledge.
