Our aim is to plant and protect billions of trees by enabling people to channel their everyday actions into environmental good. There are few truly independent organisations in the tech world that manage to bridge environmentalism and conservationism with modern, easy-to-use user-oriented products. Ecosia is one of them. And it's also an incredibly pleasant and welcoming place to work (2 weekly no-meeting days, a well-design sustainable office, remote-friendly policies, consolidated core values that builds an outstanding culture) and grow at (diversity and accessibility initiatives, conference and events allowance, books and resources sharing, learning days and hackatons). - A

I've worked at Ecosia for 5 years already and I still feel super lucky and proud to be part of this change making organisation. The Ecosia team is committed to making a positive impact and always striving to find new ways to increase the impact... because Deforestation and Climate change are serious concerns which effects all of us.
At the same time, Ecosia cares about the journey and happiness of all those involved - from the web developers writing code to the people collecting seeds and planting trees.

Ecosia is a great place to work because the company does not only care about the work you do but also cares about you as an individual and your well-being. With Covid being tough on a lot of people, exceptional measures have been put in place such as access to free online counselling services and flexible working hours to ensure that employees are not burnt out but are mentally sound to do their tasks optimally.
